Gather as much information as possible
Gather the emergency team (see section 3)
Consider your working location (see section 3)
Make contact with emergency services / East Riding of Yorkshire Council (see section 6)
Arrange for help from community resources / organisations (section 4)
Arrange for contact to be made / help given to vulnerable members of community (section 5)
Ask for help from other members of the community if needed
Check emails regularly
If you have internet access look at any relevant websites, which may include:

East Riding of Yorkshire Council

Yorkshire Water
Tell your community that emergency team is functioning, If appropriate maintain presence in the area(s) affected
Establish contact with neighbouring Parish Councils if appropriate (section 6)
Remember laws and regulations still apply
